September 20th, 2008 sandersen Posted in Real Estate, Winchester Activities Comments Off

Winchester MA is a thoughtful town, offering a Rain Barrel Program meant to help do its part in regards to the environment.  The premise of the Rain Barrel Program is to help save water.  Using water collected in rain barrels for watering gardens, people will both save money and conserve money.  Rain barrels allow a person to collect rainwater running off of a roof and store it for later use.  Such use could be watering lawns, gardens, and indoor plants. Without the rain barrel this water would otherwise be lost.  If you live in Winchester and did not participate in the Rain Barrel Program this summer, perhaps you will next summer.
